I spend a pretty dark weekend. On the rhythm of The OA.
Only this weekend I learn about how she met the director of that film, how they wrote it after struggling for years in L.A. If you haven’t seen the convocation senior speech that she gave at Georgetown University, please do. It’s this kind of motivational speech that stains you for life.
So I did hear about the OA previously but little did I know that Brit Marling was behind it. So I started watching it. I probably won’t go through the 8 episodes in 2 days ( let me know if you did) but this is damn good. Just a bit too depressing for me at the moment.
I’m wondering if I’m the only one here who thinks that way but here what it is. I’m not a SYFY person, I wouldn’t go for it usually but sometime I do, and I get hooked. I never understood until now (because of how well written this show is) that SYFY brings so much life fear that everyone carries into each other. More than this it’s also on the border of Psychology, Philosophy, not the boring one, the one that appeals to every one of us.
Anyway, I will probably try to catch up on her work within this month and if you haven’t, do as well, or let me know below what you think about her.
Here is a link to the Trailer, Enjoy 🙂
